Focus on new developments and Industry 4.0

Productronica in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for the development and manufacture of electronics, took place in November. Rehm Thermal Systems was one of the over 1,500 exhibitors. The manufacturer of thermal system solutions presented new developments in convection and condensation soldering as well as innovative concepts for interconnecting machines and production lines. Productronica not only offered visitors the opportunity to take a look at the new systems, but also to touch base with Rehm’s experts.

The latest system technology, sustainable use of resources, and Industry 4.0: These were the buzzwords that characterized Rehm Thermal Systems’ appearance at the productronica trade fair in Munich. The response and feedback of visitors to the Rehm booth was as positive as the assessment by Michael Hanke, Chief Sales Officer at Rehm: “We show visitors to our booth Rehm’s latest systems, including the Vision TripleX, whose unique combination of a convection and a vapor phase soldering system makes it a milestone in the further development of reflow soldering. Our software solutions, which enable the global and direct interconnection of Rehm systems, also caught the attention of trade visitors. In retrospect, we are more than satisfied with this year’s productronica and continue to be delighted by the great interest visitors showed in our systems and solutions”.

Alongside the newly developed Vision TripleX, Rehm Thermal Systems also presented further developments of the VisionXP+ convection soldering system, the RDS UV dryer and the ProtectoXP and ProtectoXC dispensing and coating systems. Many trade visitors took the opportunity to learn more about the ProtectoXP and ProtectoXC in particular – the dispensing and coating systems were presented with Rehm’s ViCON system software, which impresses with its intuitive operation and attractive design as well as many features (such as ECAD data import).

In the software development field, visitors to the Rehm booth could see for themselves the solutions for optimum interconnection of individual systems, production lines or entire production lines – including the Hermes Standard or the IPC-CFX Standard, which can be combined with all Rehm systems. The associated opportunities with regard to the future of electronics production showed how important Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory are for Rehm Thermal Systems – and that Rehm is well-prepared to face this future.

We would like to thank all customers, partners, and visitors for their interest. We look forward to seeing you at one of our next events! More information can be found at www.rehm-group.com/de/aktuelles/events.
